Covington Catholic golfer Timmy Fritz placed 10th Sunday at the adidas predator absolion Musselman-Dunne Golf Tour Kia Classic held at Stone Crest Golf Course in Prestonsburg.
Fritz, wrapping up his junior year, shot adidas predator lz 15-over-par 159 (83-76) and finished 15 shots behind winner Tyler McDaniel , a sophomore at Clay County who shot even par 144.
Fritz, from Union, was named the 2012 CovCath golf team’s Varsity Most adidas cleats Improved.
